This series is forged from reclaimed steel, fencing wire, and discarded bolts, welded together into abstract impressionist life forms. The surfaces are treated through the ancient craft of metal bluing—heated, quenched in oil, and sealed with pure beeswax—revealing a depth of tone both luminous and raw. Each piece is grounded on reclaimed slate, anchoring the work in earth and time.

Inspired by Psalm 41, the animal form emerges—poised, alert, and yearning for the waters. It is a meditation on thirst, longing, and the instinctive pull toward life and renewal.
