This body of work is the result of a decades-long experiment, shaped by glass, canvas, oil, marble dust [calcium carbonate], and the sands and ocores gathered from across Australia. Each painting carries with it the memory of journeys spanning many kilometres, where the land itself becomes both material and muse.
The style moves fluidly between impressionism and abstract impressionism, echoing the shifting tones and textures of the landscapes encountered. These works are not just paintings, but layered records—voices of dust, earth, and distance—speaking through pigment, texture, and form.
